I want to go to college. Is it possible?

I finished my high school in 2007. I haven't joined any college since. I am from Nepal with above average marks in high school , 80% to be exact.

I don't have any money. I don't want to study in Nepal either. Here, education is very bad both academically and otherwise.I hardly had money to register for SAT and SAT subject tests but eventually I did. My family are against this idea of applying to US, partly coz they don't have money and partly coz they are conservative.

I was a national cricket player and some flop blog writer. But my main interest is ASTROPHYSICS. I wanna study that subject and I am sure I can do good at that. I Scored my name for Institute of Engineering but didn't take admissions there coz educational standards here are ****.

Not having any money,I mean no money at all, could I get into some college in US? I don't have any options, and this is my last shot......

****!!! WHY CAN'T ONE STUDY EVEN IF HE/SHE WANTS TO DO SO VERY BADLY?

The absurdly-growing cost of higher education is pricing out even many American students, so you’re far from alone in your worries.

You’ll need to look for schools which offer to meet full need for international students - which, I’m afraid, are few and far between.

Perhaps you should look to do your undergraduate work at an institution closer to home, then apply to US universities for graduate study. There are many more funded positions for international graduate students than for undergraduate.
