I want to know more about other Brown students

Thanks guys.

LOL I love the Brown board. Everyone is so friendly. :D

That's why Brown is the "happiest Ivy".

Really? That's cool. I like happy people... and I consider myslef a happy person, so it's like it was meant to be! ;)

Yes, good luck to you :)

:p !

Happy people are awesome! Go Brown board!

So how far is Brown from NYC? Just Wondering

Something like 4 hours, I think. I can't remember.

Noooo.... it's less than that. More like 2 and a half to 3.

I think it's about 3 hours if you take the amtrack from Penn Station to the Providence train station.

2 and a half? Not driving!

(I'm talking about going the speed limit, here!)

Oh, the speed limit's for old ladies. No one will stop you going under 80.

Yeah- I went East coast college-visiting back in Novemeber, and I drove from Boston to Providence (my favorite stop, of course) to NYC to Philly to DC. It was exhausting, but I had a good time. I really like the East coast... especially this little town that we visited in Rhode Island that had this perfect little college... I forget its name. ;)

I can't respect someone who doesn't follow the speed limit.

Shame on you. Let's hope you don't run over any old ladies.

I took the same route as you, calidan, when I visited colleges on the East Coast. I went during spring break though with my class.

Did you guys (calidan and sunkist) drive cross-country?

My school organized the trip. We flew into Boston and from there, we took a bus till we got to DC. Then, we flew back to Cali from Dulles. It was an optional trip. So about 30 people went and we visited 18 schools over a period of a week.

Nope- I didn't drive cross country.

We flew into Logan from Oakland, and rented a car. Drove down the coast (in the order previously mentioned) and finished in DC. We flew home out of Dulles (back to Oakland).

That's too bad. Flying is fun, but I desperately want to drive cross-country.
