I want to transfer to Swarthmore

In senior year of high school, I really didn't do my college research, simply because I had so much work in senior year somehow, so that my application was actually rather poor. I had applied to Swarthmore but I was rejected. The only reason why I applied and probably why I know about Swarthmore is because my brother attended and graduated at Swarthmore. And due to that, I visited Swarthmore a few times and I love the campus.

I attend my safety college, which to be quite honest, I like it, but all of my classes are easy and I feel I could be doing so much more. I'm currently a freshman, taking 17 credits. I was going to take 18, but the credit limit is 17.5. I actually plan to take 17 credits again Spring semester. I actually want a challenge, and I always hear about how challenging Swarthmore is and I actually would welcome that.

So I plan on applying as a transfer to Swarthmore for Fall 2011. Really, I am a bit nervous as I am not sure if I can get the two letters of recommendations. The reason why I want to transfer is really due to that I want to be challenged academically and I want to be with a community that also supports that.
