Transfer....

I am looking to apply as a transfer to Swarthmore for next fall, I am currently a freshmen (well, I am a sophomore at my current school if you count my IB credits, but they won't help me at Swarth...)

In high school, I had a 3.68 UW GPA...all IB classes for my Junior and Senior years.
32 ACT

I had a list of focused extracurriculars....which centered around leadership roles in volunteer organizations.

I am currently at the University of Michigan Dearborn.
The semester is almost over, heres my breakdown:
Summer 06:
Poli Sci 101 - A
Psych 171 - A-

Fall 06:
English 125 - A-
Stats 363 - A
Anthro 101 - A
Soc 201 - A
Ling 280 - A

Winter 07:
Calc III
Diff Eq
Macro Econ
Micro Econ
History 112 (American past)

My IB credits got my higher placements and my distribution at my school is complete, which explains my course selection.

My recommendations from my Professors won't be anything special...

However, my essays, I think, will be pretty good. I have a friend who works in the admissions office, but he lets me know what they look for, but I really want to attend, so I think I can come up with something that stands out.

I know they got more transfer friendly, but do you think I got enough to make the cut?

When you are transferring, do they look at your high school record too?

You are required to submit high school transcript, secondary school report, and SAT I and SAT II scores. You can use a high school teacher for one of your teacher recommendations if you choose to - they require two and at least one must be a college professor.

i just looked at the app, and I don't need SAT I/II if I use my ACT

"The new SAT reasoning test with mandatory writing section and two SAT subject tests/SAT IIs; or, the old SAT I
with three SAT subject tests/SAT IIs, one of which must be the SAT II writing test (last administered March 2005);
OR, the ACT with a score from either the ACT optional writing test, the new SAT writing section, or the SAT II
writing test (last administered March 2005)"

but the only one rec from college prof helps a bit...

and I'm applying for Fall 2007...currently a freshmen...planning to enroll as a sophmore
