Impressive numbers… but you can never predict these things… you just can’t.

^^Whoops, I can’t read. Clearly, the SAT reading section doesn’t mean anything. :P

Then I’m pretty clueless. They probably just didn’t like OP’s essays and/or thought his/her activities were lackluster.

Wow, your post was beyond cocky.
Anyway, invitation to CHP is not solely based on numbers. You need good activities, good essays, etc. I’m sure they tend to give out CHP/Regents to students who would most likely consider going to UCI. Maybe it’s a good thing you didn’t get notified of CHP/Regents because you act as if UCI is not a good school.

@Diana… awkwarddddd lol

@ OP- I hope you quickly abandon your self-righteous attitude before transitioning into higher education. If you don’t, you will quickly find disappointment at the next level and beyond. As the saying goes, there will ALWAYS be somebody better than you. If you displayed those same feelings of entitlement in your essays, then you have your answer as to why you were not selected to participate in the honors program. In the future, a potential employer interviewing you for a position would most likely pick a less qualified applicant than yourself due to your pompous attitude. Nobody wants a person like that representing the face of their company or school, no matter how exceptional their achievements may be. May this serve as an appropriate learning experience for you.

right because obviously in my essays i show my obvious disdain for UCI and exaggerate my own arrogance, right

no

i’m not stupid, my ECs were decent and my essays superb

thank you post #12 for actually answering my question and raising a good point

TROLOLOLOLOL, you wish what that post said about you was true. Let’s see proof of you getting into an Ivy and we’ll believe you.

Scumbag HuaChingNi: Finds one post that inflates his ego. Praises it for being the correct answer.

PS: I’ve already received a strike on CC for using the word “prick,” so hopefully “scumbag” won’t earn me my second hehe

let me explain why you were’nt accepted into CHP you pompous fool. first of all you are concited af, second of all it doesn’t matter how high your SAT scores, GPA, or AP/IB scores are. CHP admitts well rounded students who are creative and inventive and involved, whihc obviously you weren’t. I’m currently a freshmen here at UCI as a bio major and I’m in the CHP program. I am also latino male who wrote a spectucaular essay which is why they accepted me. I bleieve the admissions officer smelled your cockiness through the pages. :P
