Now that AP tests are over, school still hasn't lost its stress. Progress reports came in (to my surprise) and I got a D+ for Econ? WHAT?! Econ is easily my EASIEST class. I only showed up one day last week due to APs and I guess he was missing a lot of my notebook stuff. Also, I haven't participated/spoken more than a few sentences in a couple weeks. I hate going to that period. Oh god, I hope I'm merely missing a bunch of papers I did before...if I get my acceptance resided thanks to ECONOMICS, the class everyone has to pass to graduate, screw my life.

Anyway, it better be just the notebook stuff...I think I'm overstressing this. I have a hard time believing I did better in Calculus than I did in Econ...

It seems the last things to look forward to is Prom (which I might not attend because it seems so pricy for the tiny amount of fun I'll have), Senior skip day, graduation, and graduation parties. :/

i wish the same thing as you…but prolly for me, it will get harder maybe…o wellz

anyway, its ok…you probably won’t get rescinded. just talk to your teacher dude and let him/her know that you had AP TESTS, which are freaking important…more important than an econ class…

its ok bro…i didnt go to prom either (but then again who would go with me? anyway im bringing negative feelings into here, lol)…so yea chill its ok

ahhh I can totally relate!! I have a week left of high school, and my teachers will not let up on work. I have a debate tomorrow in speech, I have to read 300 pages by next week for English, a Spanish video project, and an econ project. All these things were assigned at the beginning of this week. I wish I were kidding.

yeah i feel ya… i cant wait to graduate and move on with my life! I’m not sure if i will go to my prom( the girls here only like a holes…and it costs alot lol). And we already had a senior skip day so im really getting anxious. Its over a month away ughhhhh. But ur not alone so stick it out.

I know the feeling. My teachers are piling on the work and it’s killing me. I still have my state standards next week, two APUSH projects, three finals, and countless amounts of work to do.

My English class has been 0 work ALL year, now we have tons of review for the stupid standard AND an entire novel to read plus quizzes and worksheets on it…

I wanna graduate but finals are next week and I no longer get homework which is greatttttttttttttttttt! BUT GRADUATION JUST NEEDS TO COME. I’m not excited because I still have an AP left but all my finals are bs thank goodness…

supereagle- you should go to prom. I know it’s expensive, but you’ll probably regret not going later. I mean, it’s the last major memory you’ll have of high school. And I’m sure there is at least one girl who would like to go with someone who is not a d-bag :)

AMEN. i feel like by dragging on, school people are killing all the brain cells. well, the ones that weren’t burned by the five ap tests i had to take.

what sucks is that we still have three more weeks of school. i know some private schools whose seniors get let out weeks before the rest of the school. but i guess public schools would lose money for attendance if they did that

Sigh. I feel this. I have 3 papers to write in last week (just for English!), as well as tests and quizzes. I have less than a full week of classes and teachers are still acting like we have til July! I can’t wait for it to be over!

My teachers all thought it would be funny if they all pushed huge workloads at the same time at the end of the year. My AP Lit teacher has been on our backs for weeks with review for two end-of-the-year tests he is giving us AND the AP exam. My Multimedia teacher wants us to finish a mash-up in one week. That is hours of editing footage. My Poli Sci professor (comes to HS to teach part-time) put all three of his usual assignments in one month- normally they are all spaced out over 2-3 months. I’ve already taken my AP Stats test and our teacher now wants us to work on a big project WITH a powerpoint presentation! Plus we have a “Senior Portfolio” and “Senior Exhibition” as a graduation requirement from our school both due in this month. It’s crazy!! Also my ceramics teacher is hanging an F over my head for not turning in one lousy pot which is gonna jeopardize my admissions. I just wish it would all end already.
