I am so sick of this ughhh. I have like a B in three classes right now, and usually I am good student but senior year is really taking a toll on me!!!

I am so flustered with college apps and grades, and tests, and a whole bunch of other crap. NOt to mention the fact that I discovered today i scored a 54 percent on my calc test. Fabulous. it dropped my grade ten percent.

I am so sick of worrying about grades and tests and school. I want to just leave and go to college to start fresh.

Ugh, I’m totally feeling you here. My first marking period grade for Calc AB was an 85%, and that was based on only one test since I transferred in about 3 weeks into the marking period. My APUSH teacher gives impossible MCQ’s on his tests, and it was only recently that I discovered a highly effective method to tackle them. Of course, that was too late for my 1st marking period grade in that class, which was around an 83%.

And then there’s Econ… I think the primary reason I struggled with it so much was that it was so different from anything I’d ever studied. I ended up with an 84% first marking period. The latest test (the first test of the 2nd marking period) was way too long for me to finish, so I ended up panicking towards the end and guessing about 5 questions. Bad idea lol… I still have a chance at getting an A- for the semester in Econ, but it seems so slim at this point that I’m pretty doubtful it’ll happen.

And all this is happening during my junior year, which is supposedly the most important year according to adcoms… ugh

If it makes you feel any better, I honestly don’t think 3 Bs is bad at all and not something you should be SO worried over. Besides, you can always bring them up to As, if not this marking period, maybe the next marking period.

I mean it’s kind of stressing me out to see people here concerned about Bs when I just made a C and a D, haha. I’m sure if you guys are well-rounded (extracurricular activities, standardized test scores), a couple of Bs won’t make a difference. =]

Umm girrrl? I would bunjee jump of my school and roll in donkey shhit for a b in 3 classes! and if I made a 54 on a calcalas test i be flyin high girrrl! Ceer up its your last year of high school go out and have fun!!

I don’t plan to bungee jump with joy anytime soon, it’s hard because if you’ve set high standards for yourself all through high school and do not meet them towards the veryyyy end of it, its just frustrating. I dont think that its even that im not trying hard, its just a lot to manage lol

I feel all you guys’ pain. I’ve had straight A’s pretty much (only 1 B) the past two semesters, and for some reason I have not been able to get it together this semester at all. It’s not that it’s significantly harder, I just don’t have the same drive that I did for whatever reasons, I get sidetracked all the time and I waste tons of time stressing out and not getting anything done. I hope I can even make straight B’s this semester. It’s tough when there’s nowhere to go but down. Hopefully my final two semesters will more than make up for it.

I wish my AP U.S teacher used impossible MCQs. I always do very well on MCQ; FRQ, not so much.

My history grade is being driven by one horrible test grade at the moment (70 the second day of school), and tests account for 60 percent of one’s average. My second test was a 92, however, and I feel “kind of sort of” confident about a project I just handed in, which counts for two tests grades. Granted, mine was 10 pages single spaced while a few of my classmates had 18+
