I would like to be chanced I guess

I am seriously talking to recruiters from some schools for athletics but please don't take that into consideration for this thread.

Race: White

Schools Applying:
Columbia
Penn
Cornell
Brown
Notre Dame
Georgetown
Boston College
Northeastern
Northwestern
U Chicago
Holy Cross
UConn

(In case anybody actually cares) Schools I am talking to for crew: Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Cornell, Penn, MIT- Columbia, MIT, Cornell, and almost Penn I am all set athletically right now, Yale and Princeton not quite yet but I got 3-4 months to drop only a couple of seconds and they realize that I will probably do it
I realize I won't got Y, P, or MIT w/o crew

You are sort of weak on EC’s, but your academics are surely sufficient, and you have a fighting chance for at least one admission of Col, Penn, Cor, Brown.

Crew iOS pretty big at Ivy League schools. It’ll help your chances.

Columbia-low reach/high match
Penn-high match
Cornell-match
Brown-low reach (they are wierd)
Notre Dame-safety imo but people may think low match
Georgetown-match? or low reach
Boston College-safety
Northeastern-suuuper safety
Northwestern-match
U Chicago-match
Holy Cross-match? dont know about them
UConn-safety

“Hooks: Besides being incredibly handsome?”

you are hilarious. You will most likely get int UConn, Northeastern, and Holy Cross. Its hard to predict your chances for the rest, but I think you would be a decent canidate. Getting recruited will also help you stand out. Your EC and Stats look good . GOOD LUCK!

Your SAT subjects are atrocious. If you could pull up your scores to an 800 USH, 760 World, and 770 Lit, you’d be decently competent.

^He only has to submit 2 though, so he can submit the 780 an 700, which is decent. (The 700 could be better)

You have a decent shot at most of those schools… The only ones I’d say you’d have to worry about are the ivies. They’re reaches for everyone, but who knows… Might as well and apply. It won’t hurt.
Good luck. (-:

^^^a very important hook, anywhere!
Colleges take an applicant’s attractiveness very seriously in their admissions process.

Haha I’m guessing that marshfrog is kidding…?

There may be a problem with an intended major of Economics at Ivies and an incompetency at unit conversions. That may just be speculation of course. However, I suggest the best engineering school in New England, UCONNNN. HUSKIESSS!

@Lesley - Well, the only problem with his SAT subject scores is that he clearly thinks his scores are incompetent and therefore feels he must over-inflate and do some heavy rounding to appear competent.

I see sir trollsalot has decided to hunt me down in the college confidential universe and expose the lies i have told him for years regarding my subject tests. And i have a calculator for my basic unit conversions thank you very much.

I think you should have pretty decent chances. As someone said, your EC’s are a bit weak, particularly your community service, which is a big consideration for top colleges. Also, make sure your essays are killer, especially for Chicago… Recruitment is definitely your hook, though, for the ivies.
