I am also a Eagle Scout, and I work and volunteer at a hospital. I’m also on the mountain biking team and a black belt in martial arts.

You have a very very high chance of making it into UCSD. Your grades and course work are very competitive, as are your activities. Good luck!

OOS may hurt, but you have very good course rigor. I think its a low match.

@puzzled123 Why do you think its a low match?

I calculated your UC GPA as 3.95 weighted for 8 semesters of AP classes based on your post.
Your ACT is very competitive and GPA not bad. EC’s good with some leadership, so work on your essays this summer to give you that extra boost.

I would say you are a Match/High Match depending upon major and if you are full-pay. Good Luck.

Low match = likely you will get in, but there is a 10-15% chance you might not get in. This is because your GPA is on the lower side, especially for OOS: a friend at my school had a 2330 and a 4.4 weighted (in-state), but a 3.75 UW. She didn’t make SD/Davis.

I think you have a great shot buddy but are you able to afford UCSD out of state??
I was accepted at UCSD as out of state with similar stats maybe except gpa but the cost of attendance is insanely high. If you’re out of state and planning to live on campus, the estimated cost of attendance is set at $54,123 and UCSD will not give any grants to out of state students to cover the non-resident surcharge of $22,278 (the 54k includes this). Can your family afford this? That’s over $200,000 for an undergraduate education!
