I've read about some students sending in scores to their community colleges to receive credit and having their scores verified and such

do you have to then send in IB scores to both the cc and the UC you want to transfer to? the thing is...UC's often ask for IB scores anyway when you apply to transfer, so do you really have to send them into ur cc as well? or do you just send to one or the other?

You send them to your CC if you are going to use them for something there. If not, you send them to the UC you decide to attend after you are accepted.

thanks

that’s the thing though, some UC’s explicitly request IB scores be sent in for all students including transfers. but in the case you’re describing, the student already received credit for them at the cc. i guess you’d just alert the UC and they’d waive the requirement to send in the scores?

No, they will not take your word or the CC’s that the information is accurate. They need an original copy for themselves to verify what tests and scores.
