I was predicted 34 but I got under the required number of points to get the diploma. I did get my high school diploma though.
I'm in LSP next year. It's the 20th now and college starts on the 30th (move in) and I have paid all my tuittion etc.
NYU just notified that they hadn't received my grades. They had trouble accessing them. I rang the IBO and they told me to get the school to ring back. Do you think NYU will rescind my offer? I did the full IB diploma but didn't get it.
Just to clarify.
Hope I'm not screwed!

i dont think my school ever got my IB scores, nor did they ever ask me about them… i mean i did well so maybe they were sent and I never heard about it, but I don’t think I ever informed IBO where I’m going to college.

i would just drop it and not follow up any further - the main reason to follow through would be for course credit, which if you didn’t pass i’m sure you’re not gonna get. they aren’t going to rescind you once you have already started. just let it get lost in the bureaucratic mess that is higher level education…

but they sent me an email saying i couldn’t start class without my final transcript. I’m not sure if they just need for proof I finished high school or to check my final grades.

your predicted grades should go on your high school transcript, which should then be sent to your college. official IB grades are supplemental and sent separately from your final transcript.

Well actually, I e-mailed NYU admissions asking if they needed me to send my IB diploma, since they already had my predicted grades and my high-school transcript from the beginning, and they said yes. Honestly though, I don’t think you are screwed. They just want to know whether you finished the program or not.
