Hello everyone, there is something bugging me and i wanted to ask you about it.

I was recenty accepted to NYU AD and i am gratefull for that.

The thing is our schools sends IB predicted grades without the stundent knowing. Mine was 45 out of 45. Even though my teachers trusted me there is no way that i ould getthat. I am aiming for a 38 or so.

Apart from that there is no drop in my overall GPA.

Can this result in them canceling their acceptance? Should i aend them an updated predicted grades? Thank you.

Wise Wolf, NYU AD has the most holistic admissions process I’ve ever heard of. They must see some very compelling things in you to offer you a spot. If you have doubts, have a conversation with one of the NYU AD admissions people and see if they have particular IB score expectations. I’ll bet they don’t, beyond what you’ve already shown. Congratulations!

Nope I don"t think so. Keep working hard and stay the course. Aim for the best score that you can and focus on that. Forget about everything else. And what you did not know you were not supposed to know. And these are called predicted scores for a reason. Anyway IB scores are pretty hard to predict as they have external assessment. Also you are competing against all IBDP students worldwide. Very difficult to predict. Relax and concentrate on Finals Preparation.

Yeah, I have this problem as well, I doubt I’m getting my PG score…Teachers in my school are too damn lenient…

Ya I agree with the top posts, I think you will be completely fine and I wouldn’t worry about this too much.
