IB ESS, how disadvantaged am I?

Hey guys,

I am 6 months through my IB and one of my friends yesterday told me that since I take ESS , I am retarded and universities will reject me without looking. But if ESS is not a science, so what about DT?

I want to do Economic or Finance in Uni. My current profile: HL: Maths, Econ,Business and Management. SL: Eng A1, French Ab Initio, ESS

Do you know anything about post-ESS students?
Any comments, should I change?

How disadvantaged am I?

hey, any thoughts?

You are not very good with sarcasm, are you?

I just delivered his message in such a manner here, the point was that he was serious

Are you asking about universities in the United States? I assume from the terms you use that you are not a student in the US.

It’s probably true that US universities would prefer to see Physics, Chemistry, or Biology as your science subject. Have you taken any of these subjects already? But it’s certainly not true that universities will reject you without looking if you don’t have these, as long as your grades and scores are strong.

Yes, I have : Chemistry - 5 years, Physics - 4 years, Biology - 6 years.

Thank you for your opinions. Maybe I will try sending two transcripts to show that I have done those subjects too
