Impressions?
I just finished Math Methods paper 1 5 minutes ago!- not the hardest but a couple questions nowhere to be found on the formula sheet!

Did Math HL yesterday and today. One word: hard.

hmmm heard about math higher level paper 2... apparently the three dimensional geometry was a killer

I finished Math Methods today. Compared to the tests we get in class, it was easy :)
Here's hoping we all get 7s!

The three dimensional geometry wasn't that hard. Paper 2 the main problem was the stats was a little confusing. the probability question (number 4 i think) was also very weird. i answered most of hte questiosn but was not really sure on anything except number 1. paper 1 was much harder, though.

Math HL:

P1 - was just freaking horrible. Most of the questions there were NOTHING like what I've done in the past paper 1s. I feel I wasted my time doing all the past paper 1 questions.

P2 - was easier than the level of P1. I messed up on question 4, entirely, and that's not good. I didn't know how to do the intersection of the planes. I didn't do 5 part b - yes the 3D geometry. Stats option was all right.

was 5 about the trapezium?

yah the trapezium question. I tried to differentiate it, and found the angles for the cos equation but i just didn't know where to head.

the trapezium question wasnt that hard the stats was confusing and i also missed 1 question in the vectors and P1 = ultimate killer hopiing we get an easy curve

I'm tempted to say the methods was easy... BUT i was stumped on about half of the vector one... with the fuel and stuff? nah...

The trapezium problem was easy. All you needed to do was to draw a few triangles in and represent each side based on trig ratios. The formula for area of a trapezium being 1/2(a+b)h or something like that. My main problem was the probablity question (or was that paper 1?)

Yeah part a) is easy. I'm talking about part b) dude - where they wanted you to verify it's a maximum.

first find the value of theta that satisfies the equation the other one then substitute and find a value of r which together with the theta and r value must be substituted in the original equation to get the max area simple heheh

I hated the vector questions otherwise the paper was cake

other subjects? (ie. i think the only across the board one is the unseen commentary) the poem was... ummm... something else. nice though

Did computer science p1 today it was too easy. :D

hummer did you take HL? I took it today and thought it's not as hard as I had expected, although I'm sure that I got some of the questions wrong...now I'm kinda worried about tomorrow's part 2...

p2 comp science was super easy , the prog part never could have been easier evrything else also easy although one question i wasnt too sure when they asked for alternative backup strategy

What did you put for alternative backup strategy divraj?? I just got back from the exam...

first i put parallel hard drive system backup then i changed it to just cd - roms because in the second part they asked wher to store backup media wht did u put ?
