Our school doesn't focus much on the EE. Like I don't think anyone's really sat down and met with the mentor because we've all been told to sort of do History EEs and the History teacher's room is so far out of the way from everything else that it discourages meetings.

Really? That sucks for people who don't like history. At our school we are encouraged to choose whateve topic we are most interested in.

We are told we can do any topic we want but they pretty much scare you into doing history as they only give you history guidelines...

EE and ToK are for bonus points anyway, so if turned in and all, i wouldn't stress about it at this point. If you want to hear something funny...all the WL1 and WL2 from our school are being sent to Colombia and one of our works was chronicle of a death foretold by marquez based in colombian society, imagine the moans and groans when our class heard this as many people talked about colombian society in relation to the novel without really understanding the culture, hence many generalizations that the examiner would easily be able to pick out...

chiuee, I would love to go your school and get off a week to write the papers. That's pretty much what I've been doing anyway. I went to school 3 days last week, and I went to math class twice last week.

I don't think my school specifically encourages history EEs, but that's what most people end up doing. I think it's because it's what most people have experience doing. We have so many history research projects so people are comfortable with that, but no one does scientific research in my school because we don't have the programs or the facilities, for example, there's no psychology or economy class, and people just aren't used to writing about art in essays. A few people also do A1 (English) essays. Also, I was looking up EE statistics, and in this one school, the history EEs got very high scores (few A, mostly B, very few or no C), while visual art, for example these students got a few Bs, mostly Cs, and some Ds.

An update for everyone: I got my 4500 word essay down to 3962 even while adding information! Also, my essay was complete for friday, but there were some technical/citation problems so my advisor let me hand in a fixed one by Monday. Since I'm taking the weekend to edit, my advisor said that I should just read it over again and revise/edit again. So guess what I'll be doing this weekend!

I am going to guess I will get a C on mine. I think it's so bad :/

Doubtful, you genius :p

Genius huh. Seeing as I just spent quite a while going "I see no user named Doubtful... who the heck is she talking about?".... I think you should rephrase.

lol
Sir Legend, it is ever so doubtful that you will receive a C because genius becomes you so splendidly.

Ahh but Miss Zant I must regretfully inform you that my mind is not as quick-witted as it once was, unfortunately, but alas I mind not being denounced a dunce

May I confess that I enjoy such delight in conversing in this antiquated manner?
Alas my endeavor in penning my gothic tale has greatly affected my style.

May I too confess that I enjoy the consumption of oneself?
