IB internships in London or Austrailia?

I'm curious about anything abroad

Do you mean investment banking? If so, for London start to contact all the big US and European investment banks starting in November. Obviously, you would have to pay your own way over here for an interview (although the first/second round could be by phone of Skype).
Check with Cornell’s career services dept for HR contacts at these banks. Also, you may want to check out large buy-side firms (AXA, M&G, Prudential US) or private equity firms such as Carlyle, Blackstone and KKR that have a large presence in London. If you can speak at least one European language, that will make you more desirable. Good luck, Jackuk

I’m also interested in both full time and summer opportunities in Singapore at bulge bracket and buy side firms. I am an American college student and therefore will need work permit for Singapore. How should I proceed to apply for these jobs?

I work in London as a trader (came from a US uni).

I forgot to add, start networking with Cornell alums who work in London. One of them may be able to help you get an interview next year for an internship.

Regarding interviewing in London, most of the big firms do 1st round by phone with an HR rep and a 2nd round in person.

If you’re university has a videoconference suite, I’ve also had interviews done through that previously.
