IB issues

hi there,

i'm doing the IB program, graduating next year.
i have two questions...

1) do only IB HLs count as AP classes? because you can take twice as many APs as you can HLs.. does anyone know how colleges consider that?

2) conversion - GPA is on a scale of 5 (i think) and IB is 7, does anyone know how this is done, or have any idea of where i can find an explanation?

much appreciated and good luck to y'all

i think only HL's are considered for college credit, but i think some sl's like pshycology are included.

1) yes, HLs = AP credit at most colleges. though, they are arguably much much much more difficult, work-intensive classes. but, you can take AP exams for their SL or HL counterparts, as it is MUCH easier get a 5 on an AP than a 6 or 7 on an IB exam.
2) IB exams are graded on a scale of 1-7 but that is entirely independent of GPA, as far as i know.
