I'm a little confused about how IB credit works.... I thought if you got a 6 or a 7 in a foreign language you could be exempt from the requirement but it seems like they only accept AP and SAT II scores for some odd reason. Anybody who did IB in high school know how this works??

no, you do get exempt you have to take a placement test, but if you manage a 6 or a 7 in a non intro course, then you should be able to comfortably place out of all four semesters once you come here. prepare you grammar and culture well. At worst you’ll take the 4th sem and be done with it.

You can always take a placement test and place out of the foreign language requirement.

Edit: cc got here a few seconds before I did, just read his post.
