IB Results and University/College Acceptances Thread

Hey guys,

As a rising IB student, I just wanted to know where everybody went with their stats, and how much weighting Universities and Colleges put on the IB score.

It'd be great if the submissions were in this format:

IB Score when you sent your EA or ED or RD (if not sure, then you can write the prediction range [ex. 35-40]):
SAT/ACT scores:
The quality of your extracurriculars (on a scale of 1-10):
The quality of your recommendations (on a scale of 1-10):
Race (optional):
Universities/Colleges you were accepted to:
Universities/Colleges you were waitlisted by (optional):
Universities/Colleges you were rejected by (optional):

It would really help me out a lot. Thanks.

bump, is this info really private for everyone?

Well, I’d reply with all that info, but all my colleges saw was that I had a 7 for my ES&S SL class, which was only one year long, so we had it done junior year. My school didn’t do predicted grades on IB exams, mainly because it was so unreliable and inaccurate. My IB Bio HL teacher thought I was certain for a 7. I got a 4.

IB Score when you sent your EA or ED or RD (if not sure, then you can write the prediction range [ex. 35-40]):
SAT/ACT scores:37
The quality of your extracurriculars (on a scale of 1-10): 9
The quality of your recommendations (on a scale of 1-10): 8
Race (optional): black
Universities/Colleges you were accepted to: Amherst College, Northeastern
Universities/Colleges you were waitlisted by (optional): none
Universities/Colleges you were rejected by (optional): none

thanks @articmonkies. although it was 1 submission it still helps me get an idea of how colleges view the IB curriculum.

How does one exactly get a 37 on the ACT?

@outlander545 i think he means IB PG by 37

Bump… any submissions would really be appreciated! I cannot find any examples anywhere, just AP curriculum GPAs…

IB Score: 40? I think? But colleges didn’t see my results before giving me a decision.
SAT/ACT scores: 32
