what sort of IB scores are accepted students getting when they apply? Sorry, i'm just curious as to the approximate score accepted by Penn. Also, i'm an international student and dont have a GPA, just my IB. Will that be okay? Thanks :)

42/43 for me

Yes lifehouse only IB is ok. I got a predicted 41/42 out of 42 and I got huntsman. But in my opinion as long as you have above a 38 out of 42 predicted and u have decent grades and testing scores and ECs u have a shot. For wharton u need to have atleast a 6 for Math Hl though in my opinion!

ahh alright thanks, out of 42 - so is that not including TOK or the EE?

Well I’m my highschool the predicted grades don’t include TOK and EE. So yeah out of 42. However, penn has become much more selective this year and though abt 10-12 ppl got in last year only 6 got in this year so I’m not sure abt future IB requirements!

haha alright thanks, i think im going in the right direction then! the only thing is i didnt choose Maths HL, i chose English HL and im applying to Wharton so i hope that doesn’t affect me too much :/

I’m predicted a 45 out of 45. How much does that work to my advantage? I take Physics, Economics and Maths HL, with Spanish Ab Initio, English and Philosophy SL.

@jebar, its a plus but wont help that much in the overall scheme of things compared to any other score in the 40s.
