IB Scores

I am a rising senior going for the IB Diploma...is there any way I can incorporate my predicted scores into my applications for college?

any thoughts?

No. American schools disregard predicted scores.

My counselor keeps bugging me to attach my predicted scores with my application. But I’ve heard that this will actually work against you, because you can come off as pretentious.

^… why would you come off as pretentious?

i think my school (which usually sends most kids to the US and the UK) sends predicted scores regardless if they ask, but i think some colleges do ask for them if they see you’re doing an IB diploma. also, i know mcgill (a canadian uni, but nonetheless) requires you send predicted scores…
hope that helps :)

Because some US colleges don’t fully recognize IB, and the purpose of predicted scores. But all in all, it depends on the University you’re applying to.

I was thinking about either early decision to Columbia or SCEA to Princeton…so should I attach them to my app? or no?
