how do "IB score predictions" work in the admissions process?

I'm starting the full IB diploma this fall and I don't quite understand how this works, since IB scores are a big factor in college admissions.

can anyone explain? thank you!!!

If you're applying to college in the United States, IB scores really don't matter at all (unless you are trying to get course credit).

IB scores are like AP scores. And because the IB program is inherently MUCH less flawed than the AP program, colleges love IB kids.

The IB score prediction is just a matter of how many credits you're expected to have accumulated and whether or not you'll graduate with an IB diploma.

Yea dude I do IB as well, and like IB predicted scores are more crucial when applying to the UK where they give you conditional offers, as "Ses" said, they are like AP scores which just give you credits, although there is a notion that US colleges like IB students...it varies from place to place
