<p>I'll cut right to the chase:</p>
<p>I know IB requires much more work and research than AP does, but is it worth it? Colleges/Universities claim to weigh IB and AP equally, but is that really the case? I'm currently in the IB program, but I'm thinking about dropping it and taking AP classes next year. That way, I would have much more time on my hands and still have weighted classes. How much does the IB Diploma even help? According to some people I know, it doesn't do much, but I'd like to see what others say.</p>
<p>By the way, I do NOT plan on attending any school outside of the US.</p>
