Does anyone apply to Williams with 3 subject tests, 2 of which are IC and IIC? I miss the next SAT administration and I've only taken Writing, IC and IIC. Can I still apply to Williams or IC and IIC are considered only 1 subject = Math? ANy feedback is highly appreciated.

pick up the phone and give the adcom a call...

hmmm i don't think its really good idea.. it being a liberal art college, it will try to look for kids who are well rounded. I asked the admission commitee, they strongly recommended writing test for me.

It's kind of redundant to send both IC and IIC. IC is typically used by students who won't major in math/science to help demonstrate basic HS math proficiency. IIC is typically used by students who are likely to go on to advanced math and hard sciences in college. If you plan to follow the latter course, you should probably be submitting a science SATII along with your Writing and IIC--they won't really care what your IC score was. If the former, perhaps a humanities course or foreign language test would be a more appropriate measure of what you've been up to. But I wouldn't let that keep you from applying. As Bluebayou says, call or email the admissions office.

i did both maths with my writing. its obvious from my transcript and ap tests and sats that i do well in all subjects but im better in math, so it made sense that i chose to take (and do well on) both math sat 2s. and i got in, so obviously they were okay with that.

i am also planning on a physics or math major. so like driver said, it makes more sense to do them both for that reason
