Ice Hockey Season Tickets

When do ice hockey tickets go on sale for first year students?

U-M students will receive an email in early September regarding their ticket opportunities. Individual game tickets will go on sale in the middle of September. Call the ticket office at (734) 764-0247 if you have questions.

also, it looks like a lot of the hockey games in AA are on the same days as Men’s Basketball, and even football. Do the games conflict or overlap, or are they scheduled at different times (e.g. afternoon and evening) so you can go to both? Lots of the times on the schedule are TBA. Plus, is it wise as a freshman to go to so many events and cut into study time, or is it a welcome break and doable? Any sophs or upper classmen have thoughts on this based on their experience?

The home football games are always during the day and I am pretty sure that the hockey games are always in the evening so there shouldn’t be a conflict. The basketball schedule is set by the conference and the times often set by TV so there could be conflicts.

Actually I think most of the hockey’s home games are when football is away, except for maybe one game? There is no hockey in september and if I am reading correctly these are the home game dates:

hockey

oct 3
oct 4
oct 22
noc 6
nov 7
nov 13
nov 20

etc and so forth

football
oct 17
oct 24
nov 7
nov 21

So there’s an overlap on nov 7th, so you can decide to go to hockey vs miami or football vs Purdue. That’s the only overlap I see between hockey and football.
