ICS- placement tests?

k, i signed up for orientation and now I'm looking at the placement testing chart, and it says i have to take a placement test for precalc/math analysis? what is this? im in ap calc, if i pass the ap test (which i probably did) can i skip this? or should i sign up anyways. i allready took the writing test a few weeks ago, i don't really want to take anymore. =( excuse my sucky grammar, its almost 3am

If you do pass it, you are exempt from the test.

so should i sign up for the placement test? or wait till I get my AP test results

like every other placement tests say, you should take the test if you haven't gotten your scores back yet.

I would say go for it. You're bound to pass anyways, and even if you don't you can fall back on your APs. Think of the test as a buffer.

I would assume that you would be exempt for just taking calculus in high school. If you have already taken precalculus in 11th grade, why would we have to take the placement test 2 years later. If you pass the AP CALC test I believe you can skip MATH 2A? Not sure about this.

Rant :)
I don't understand WHY UCI has to uninstructive with their information policies. I have not learned a SINGLE thing from the UCI website, everything I have learned came from either jas0n (thanks ;) ) or the UCI staff.
