I tried to take my calculus placement test and it is asking me for my UCINet ID. After I enter it its not letting me go further, and I can not access my test. Is this the case of another broken link?
Of course, its Sunday and I can not call anyone at UCi to ask how to fix problem

I haven’t tried taking the test yet, I will probably do that after I graduate because I would have just taken my Calc final in school. But I am curious if the test is hard? And what happens if you fail the test? I am getting a solid B in Calc, so how do you guys think I will do on the test? Unlike many future UCI kids, I SUCK at math lol.

Jolly- Too early, May is the earliest to activate your UCINet ID
Got it from the UCI placement test web page

You have to wait until UCI officially activates your account as a student in order to take your exam. That’ll be until sometime in May.

Don’t worry, you guys all have time, there’s no reason to super rush into it.
@UCI2015 Well, it’s more of something that tells you which math class to start off with. If you do well, you can skip some earlier classes, else, you have to take more math classes to fill your requirements. I haven’t taken the test personally, but yeah, if you’re already in Calc, it shouldn’t be any problem at all. I don’t think you even have to take it if you pass the AP test for Calc, but I’m really not too sure how all that works, I just went to this site that tells me all the necessary placement tests I needed for classes.

As for the future UCI kids, this is a more science oriented school and everyone here is not the best at math (or at least they say they aren’t, making this not my opinion).

But yeah, best of luck to all of you on your placement tests, and yeah, do try to past them to the best of your abilities since it can really save you a lot of time if you do well.
