<p>So I'm only just finishing my sophomore year in hs. I have a 4.0 so far and am taking "pre ib" classes this year and plan on graduating with an ib diploma. My lowest grade in hs has been a 97 and I plan on keeping my 4.0 up for the rest of hs. Additionally I may letter on the varsity baseball team this year. Any suggestions on what I should do to improve my chances of getting into a top tier school? I plan on having over 100 hours of community service by the time I graduate, as well as lettering in baseball jr and sr year and possibly tram captain for a year (good leader). I'm looking to get into ucla or Stanford. Any thoughts? The 4.0 is unweighted.</p>
<p>keeping up your good work in classes and extracurriculars. talking to your teaches more / building a good relationship with them so they can write you good recommendations. and when the time comes, write really good essays.</p>
