<p>So I just got my letter saying my personal information was compromised in the UCLA database. I am going to put a fraud alert on my credit reports and freeze them. It looks like anybody who got in their system between October 2005 and November 21, 2006 could be affected. This is just a heads up to everyone who just applied this last november to keep an eye on your credit reports.</p>
<p>Ouch.They got access to hundreds of thousands of accounts (either 200,000 or 800,000..I forgot the exact number I read).</p>

<p>You found out during summer session...but they said they just caught on to it November 21...hmm in any case I just wanted people to be aware that even applicants are affected.</p>
