Hello, everybody. I am an international RD applicant from Russia. Not a long time ago Ive recieved an e-mail from collegeboard asking me to submit IDOC. Then I got another message, disregarding all the requirements. What does this mean? Colleges dont want my fin docs or what?
I have actually already submitted all the tax forms and all in December. I put all the stuff in the same envelope with my portfolio. Now I am thinking that maybe the college I am applying to did not ask me to submit IDOC because they were satisfied with the documents I have submitted at the end of December.
What do you think? Thank you.

I also got the email asking me to submit the IDOC, and another one telling me to overlook the last email. So I just ignore them and did not sumbit the IDOC.

I think the collegeboard just had a mix-up. As long as you satisfied the colleges’ financial doc. requirement, you should be fine.

Yeah I though about major mix-up, too, because the e-mail was not personalized etc. Thanks.

Some international applicants get the IDOC email by mistake, but a few colleges actually want their international applicants to submit documents. Double-check with the college(s) you are applying to - better safe than sorry.
