If a test proctor decides to destroy your answer sheet, do they have to inform you?

Well, after the writing section was over, signaling the end of the psat, the proctor told us to close our answer sheets and test booklets, I noticed that I had a few dark, stray marks on my answer sheet (my test booklet was already closed and away from me) and I was quickly erasing them and the test proctor came by and she was like " your booklet is supposed to be closed already" and she collected it from me ( while she was also collecting everybody elses) . Do you guys think she'll file for misconduct or destroy my answer sheet? My friends told me not to worry because she didn't tell me that she was filing for misconduct or going to destroy my answer sheet. They said that she would legally have to tell me first. I'm kinda nervous because i'm pretty sure i'm going to get national merit, and I don't want my chances to be ruined. Any guesses as to what'll happen? Should I be worried?

Don't worry. You are suffering from NMS paranoia. Perfectly natural. She would have told you.

Your paranoid, don't worry, she can't just destroy your answer sheet without your consent.

Thanks :) that's a huge relief. I've been stressing out over this since the test was over, and I think i'm sick now, but at least I can stop worrying about this.

yeah, she definitely would have told you.
