I can't seem to have this confirmed. If accepted do you receive a large envelope? What do rejection letters look like? Thanks.

Admission letters come in a large envelope.

This is what happened last year. About three weeks after I applied, I received a large envelope in the mail that just said "michigan" and had a picture of the columns of Angell Hall. I figured it was just an application because I had requested one, but I ended up applying online. When I opened the envelope, however, I was pleasantl surprised. :)

I applied 4 weeks ago. I just checked the mail, LARGE ENVELOPE!
I thought it was acceptance letter, just an application for some small school in Iowa. DARN! Got my hopes up

Okay, I'm done staying away from the Michigan board (couldn't stay away very long, could I?).

I had similiar experiences waiting for my letter. I saw large envelopes in the mailbox a few times before I finally got the one I wanted. These were addressed to my parents, and they annoyed me so much whenever they were there. Jeez. The least these companies could do was wait until I have heard decisions from all of the colleges that I applied to this year before they started bombarding my parents with those envelopes. That's important common courtesy for high school seniors (even though I really don't think they care). Luckily, for my last school's decision, I'll be able to check it online in March.
