ok. does being a resident in the country automatically exclude him from the int'l batch?

Again, that's something to ask admissions.

I also have been in the US for almost 3 years (2 years when I took SAT and applied to college, mind you) and got a 2080 on SAT (790 math, 660 writing and 630 reading), 30 on ACT (didn't send score report because it's just about the same as my SAT) and 110 on TOEFL iBT (didn't send score report neither because it's too expensive -.-) I don't know if I made a right decision by not sending my TOEFL score but I just think that it should be obvious that I do know English at some certain level.....I really didn't have the $ to send out those reports though. I am paying all my application fee & score reports fee and am almost broke because I applied to like 16 schools.

If $ is not a concern, and take TOEFL and send the score! (It's an easy test. I took it without knowing what types of questions they were going to ask)

p.s. I got UCB regent so far. Didn't get any likely letter from big Ivies.

Ok. in that case, ill tell him to do it.

haha you get 600 points for the SAT just for writing your name :P

It isn't for writing your name. If you leave the whole test blank, you get a 600 because of the grading system, but if you answer every question wrong on purpose, you can get a 0.

haha sadists.

any others???????

bummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmp.

hemmoroidal bump.

Are you basing your prediction on your PLAN scores?

um, first of all, theyre not my tests scores, its my friends. and we're gauging his predicted scores based on practice tests done on a timed basis.

I m in a similar status as your friend and I am applying to colleges this year. You can ask him if he has a green card, if not, then he is considered an international student, which will be a lot tougher as I have heard. The funny thing is I am/have taking the same math classes he is taking now. Good luck to your friends.

bumpppppppppppppppppppppp.

u do NOT get a 600 on the sat just for writing ur name, u get a 200 for writing ur name. although i wouldnt expect any1 on this obnoxious site to know what a 600 looks like and that 600 is roughly 100 points above the national mean

?perhaps it meant 200 on each section?
