chances! chances!

heyyy i just felt like posting because i am also applying early to sfs. good luck (and i mean that honestly even though going on here and looking at my competition is sort of depressing). you have really good stats and which cleary depict your interest in politics so you probably have really good shot. but.... you know if you decide not to apply to georgetown that's ok too....

yeah, you look really pretty spiffy... and that debate experience will help you on your essay (unless you do HI or something like that)

I might be wrong, but I think I remember reading that the SFS looked favorably on foreign language SAT II's, like Spanish or French. Anybody know?

yeah... they used to require it but now they "strongly suggest it." unfortunately, i take chinese, and the sat II is pretty much insane for anyone who is not a native speaker. i'm still taking in nov (the only time they offer it, and it may be too late for the ea anyway...) but i am not expecting anything higher than a 600 which is like the 10th percentile.... oh well. but if you take an easier language like french then yeah i would def recommend it.

if you're applying to the SFS, take it. not even for admissions purposes, but for language placement if you get in. It allowed me to sleep two extra hours while everyone else had to get up for an 8 am placement test. ha!
