If I am applyinh Early Action to Georgetown, when do I have to send in the midyear gr

ades? I looked over the informatin that Georgetown mailed me and it says nothing about the midyear school report concerning Early Action applicants. All the other parts of the application (Personal Data Form, Essays, Teacher Recommendation, and Secondary School Report) are dated as being postmarked by Nov. 1st for Early Action applicants.

However, the Midyear School Report only says Feb.10 on it. It doesn't say, "If you are applying Early Action, you have to send this by Nov. 1".

I am guessing that the midyear school report has no impact upon Early Action admittance.

**Note:My school's first marking period is going to end on Nov. 14th and thus it would be impossible for my school to send that midyear school report (with my senior year's 1st marking period grades.) Based on this, I am guessing that I don't need to send the Midyear report by Nov. 1st.

Am I correct in this assumption?

Also, what is the correct procedure here? Do I need to send it by Feb. 10, if I am deferred or even if I am accepted?

Thanks in adavnce for the responses.

I think you do, but not positive.

I don't think EA acceptees are supposed to send in midyear reports. I got in early last year and sent one anyway because there was so much confusion over it, but I really don't think you're required to. I'm sure it would make sense that those who are deferred have to send one in.

There is a note about mid-year grades in the section for your counselor. He or she should take care of it, but it would help everyone if you give the counselor a reminder list of colleges that need mid-year reports after you finish all your applications.
