If I do perfect junior year, do I have a chance of getting in?

My freshman and sophomore years were good, but not great. I took all honors classes was usually a B+ student who a few A’s in some classes, and I finished Sophomore year with a 3.8-3.9 GPA (weighted). Looking back on it, I definetly could have gotten straight A’s if I had worked a little bit harder.

But I am really determined this year to get striaght A’s for the entire school year, which would give me a year GPA (not cumulative) of 4.78 (because I’m taking 4 AP’s and 3 Honors classes). If I do this, along with getting near perfect ACT and SAT scores, will i stand a chance of being accepted into a place like Brown University or the University of Chicago?

Please help me! What else can I do to increase my chances?! I’m thinking of running for class president this year (which I stand a decent chance of winning).

Also, if it means anything, I got a 5 on my APUSH exam last year and got a 790 on the SATII in US History. And I’m a three sport Varsity track athlete (boys), and I think by senior year, I might be running times that are fast enough for recruitment at Brown, but it’s not something I’m counting on.

Okay, enough with threads like these. Come back to CC to get chanced after your junior year is over. Sure, we can tell you sweet nothings about your chances taking your hypothetical junior year into account, but we can’t say anything for sure until you have completed your junior year. Until then, use the wonderful SAT/ACT/AP/SATII resources on CC to actually get to the point where we can call your junior year “perfect.”

Just to specify:

Surely, a seemingly bright person such as yourself will see that you can’t get an accurate chance by just telling us what you plan on doing.

^ lol
