If I don't get in Ross Preferred Admission, can I still apply regular admission?

<p>I'm a rising high school senior. I'm applying to UM's LSA program to major in Economics (Early Action, if possible?). Could I also apply to Ross preferred admission? And if I don't get in my senior year of high school, can I apply regular admission to Ross during my freshmen year of college?</p>

<p>Also, my hook is first generation. Is this a hook that UM/Ross takes into big consideration?</p>

<p>Yes you can also apply for preferred admission, and yes you can apply for regular admission if you don’t get in. First generation may help a little for getting into LSA, but probably not for Ross.</p>
