<p>I dont think I will be able to handle taking Ap calc ab next semester. This semester I am basically striving to keep my C. If I drop it and inform colleges that I dropped it in my application will this hurt my chances of getting into a good school. My GPA is a 3.9 weighted with 8 ap classes taken so far (7.5 if I drop the class). Average SAT and SAT 2 scores pretty good community service. I'm looking to get into a tier 1 school or a good UC school (ucla berk ucsb uci, ucsd). Will this severly affect my chances? </p>
<p>Plus I do not want to risk getting a D second semester and getting rescinded.</p>
