If I had the power to intelligently design animals...

I would give them eyes to see the world, noses to sense chemicals, ears to sense vibrations, and skin to protect them from the elements. I would give them a heart to pump blood through the body and a brain so that they could remember which actions were more successful than other ones. I'd give them lungs to make use of the wonderful power of oxygen. And a digestive system so that they could convert food into energy.

But for sure, I would have NEVER thought of the idea of giving them organs that could help them make love with each other. And I really wonder - How did God come up with THAT idea? o_0. It's even weirder since this very power is the root of so much evil and suffering in the world

These organs you speak of are needed to reproduce. Without them, the species would never exist.

seriously though, what’s wrong with asexual reproduction? even (some) lizards can do it. if i were god, i certainly wouldn’t imagine having the idea for sexual reproduction (which is such a crazy idea if you never heard of it before - yes i understand the possible fitness benefits of sexual reproduction). that must have come out of nowhere. o_0

We ourselves are advanced animals. By that same notion you could say we shouldn’t have sexual organs.

If you believe in an omniscient God, would you not believe that He would know all ideas and all possibilities?

lol good point. It’s just that of all the things that evolved naturally, this was one of the weirdest things ever. One could say the same thing for other things that evolved naturally (even the laws of physics)

The laws of physics did not “evolve.”

Actually they might have evolved. The physical constants may not be as constant as we think they are. And there may very well be multiple universes, each with its own physical constants (and possibly, laws of physics too)
