I'm currently a junior and the classes I have taking right now give me the potential of getting a 4.8 but I currently have straight B's except in my one non- AP or Honors class which I have an A in so my overall weighted GPA is a 4.0 and when I average that with my sophomore and freshman grades it continues to be a 4.0. My dream university is UCLA and it's obviously very competitive and to them a 4.0 isn't much. I feel like I can get a really good SAT score though because I plan on studying for it constantly and very hard. I think I can get at least a 2000-2100. Would that SAT score paired with my 4.0 GPA get me into UCLA or UCSD? If not, what SAT score would I need? I also am an extremely outgoing person and I can nail the interview for sure! I am also very involved in school currently in about a dozen clubs, 3 sports, a few other small stuff and hoping to be in ASB next year. Please help me I really want to go to a high UC school. Thank you so much!

Get your grades up first! Straight B’s is not going to impress UCLA.

Are you oos? Then you have to be the cream of the crop. UC’s don’t use freshman or Sr year grades. Go to the UC website and follow the instruction to calculate your UC gpa.

UC’s don’t do interviews.
