<p>Depends on where you take it, of course. If it’s a school-district acclaimed virtual school, like FLVS, then yes: it is part of your GPA. </p>
<p>Generally, the AP exam is still taken at the high school you attend. You MIGHT have to take the exam at another local high school if you are the only one in your high school taking the exam, but this doesn’t happen often. I remember that in my school, I was the only person taking a certain AP exam, and they got a proctor and ordered the testing materials just for me. I felt so special haha.</p>
<p>Yes, you should be able to receive credit. Talk to your school about it first. Usually if you send them a complete transcript of the course, your school will accept it and grant you the credits!</p>
