If I were to reference a Bop-It in my essay, would you know what it is?

And more importantly, do you think adcoms would? Thanks

YES I DEFINITELY WOULD!! I don’t know about adcoms though…I’m not even sure what the average age of an admissions officer would be…If you can find that out just test it out with some people of that age.

Yes, I would understand–and I’d probably smile remembering a childhood game. And if the adcom is somewhere in his 20’s, I think he likely will know it.

I WOULD
I’m pretty sure they would too… Most of them are kinda old so they probably have/had kids soooo yes.

OMG I remember those! I’m not sure if the adcoms would though. But it never hurts to try. If it was a significant detail in your childhood, you should put it in and the adcoms can look it up if they don’t know what it is. Well, to assume, they should know it’s some type of toy :D

No, I would not. :(

Lol well I would because I’m young. But older adcoms might not. You can give a short description of it just to be safe.

Okay! Thanks everyone for the input. I also asked on the parent forum to see if it was a generational thing or what, and I got about 50/50, so I decided I’d better not. It’s not too important, I really just mention it in passing, but thanks everyone for the input!!! :D
