<p>I submitted applications a month ago with the recs not even started by my teachers. From my understanding it doesn’t matter however your teachers need to get them done by the deadline.</p>
<p>I agree with scubadive - the pieces can go in at different times. For example, we sent the SAT scores a month before we submitted the common app.</p>
