My son took April ACT-prior test was 9/2015. He had taken old and new SATs but kept missing score goal for scholarship by 10 points. He took ACT again and hit ACT scholarship target. I was wondering when college would receive score (ordered when he registered) and also when the enhanced score reports for students would be available. When we looked at his scores online, it was not the official .pdf report. The reports are different now than the 2015 reports. I assume the college would see their version of the .pdf report so we would like to see what the college is getting. Though son met scholarship target for composite, his scores were skewed with one score at 95% that pulled up the rest. Son scored much higher % wise on Math for SAT. He really did not study for this ACT-did a couple of practice tests over 2 weeks. He had missed the priority deadline for scholarships but may still get scholarship if funds are available; his college still has open registration (he was accepted in late Dec or Jan). He was one of the 2017 kids hurt by the transition from old to new SATs; he met the scholarship target with his March 2016 new SAT score but the target was raised 50 points in Sept 2016 for 2017 graduates. Since he thought he was OK, he missed 6 months of chances to take new SAT again (he had taken 2 old SATs). He retook in Dec and Jan but even with a tutor did not match his March score. He registered late for April ACT for one last attempt at the scholarship. The scholarship just stated the composite minimum, so I hope it wont matter there is such a range between categories of scores. He also placed in higher math due to his SAT but would not have based on his ACT. I guess if he is asked about it, he can say he didnt study as much for ACT.
