<p>That depends. Which school would we like to see play each Ivy League school in football, basketball, and other sports at least once every year?</p>
<p>Because that is the only consideration. The Ivy League is a sports conference. That is all.</p>

<p>This is actually an interesting question, given the ongoing realignment of the big football conferences this spring.</p>
<p>I think that adding Military Academies-Army and Navy-would be a reasonable fit, in part because any school you add would have to agree to the Ivy League requirement of no athletic scholarships. The geography would not be out of the question, either.</p>
<p>It’s a toss up between ITT Tech and University of Phoenix.</p>

<p>the problem is the sports part makes this tough, since most d1 schools either are to competive athletically or not up to par academically. but i would say one of the patriot league schools, maybe colgate. their endowment is much smaller than most of the ivy league, but they fit the bill better than most other schools.</p>
<p>^ All of the Ivies have beast lacrosse programs, though. So in that sense, I’d say that Georgetown or Johns Hopkins fits the bill.</p>

<p>Let me guess. In case you don’t make an Ivy, you’ll apply to whichever school gets the most votes in your straw poll here on CC. Then at parties you can say that “I didn’t make Ivy, but I got first alternate”.</p>

<p>I think my tour guide there may have said that it was invited to be in the Ivy League once. However, even if he did say it, I know some tour guides elsewhere who make stuff up for fun.</p>

<p>stanford may have the best sports program in the country actually. sports illustrated said it was them or texas, i cant remember. they’ve won every directors cup i think. </p>

ha, georgetown didnt have the best year in 09-10, and cornell had their best ever and georgetown was still better prob.</p>
