...would you join? I am hoping to organize some sort of club for speedsolving Rubik's cubes and similar puzzles (there are several fascinating puzzles similar to the Rubik's cube that the general public has no idea about), teaching others how to solve them, and maybe hosting an official puzzling contest, like the one held up in Toronto the summer before last. I would just like to get an idea of how many would be interested!

maybe....i was obsessed for about a month, then when i figured out one way to finish it, it takes a whole 3 mins, i was bored. id think about it.

My fastest single solve is 21.9 sec (pre inspection), 24.2 sec (no pre-inspection)
I've averaged around 30 seconds.

I use the Petrus method in combination with the last step of the Friedrich method (21 different moves!)

I also have solved numerous other puzzles (i.e. Megaminx, Dogic, 25x25x25 computer cube). One of these days, when I have more spare time than I do now, I'll learn to solve the four-dimensional (3x3x3x3) cube online.

OMG, you guys have to show me how to solve a Rubiks cube, after like a minute or so I get frustrated and give up. So if I get in, you are definetly teaching me how to solve one. And ya, I would probably join, I like puzzles and such (just not the Rubiks cube..grr)
