does anyone know if they accept supplementary materials? like a letter to demonstrate interest?

I’m not certain what they do with letters, but it definitely would not hurt to write one. I know a couple of kids here who got off of the waitlist who wrote letters to Wake, but there’s no way to tell if the letters helped or if they were just chosen for other reasons.

I would DEFINITELY write that letter if you’re really interested in Wake.

Two students at my school came off the waitlist last year - our regional rep notified them by phone in May. We sent more grades and an additional letter of rec. for each student directly to our rep. We also had each student write a letter to the rep stating how much they wanted to attend Wake and what contributions they could make to the campus. Do make effort if you want to help your chances of coming off a waitlist.
