<p>Hello I am a current junior about to apply to colleges in fall. Im thinking about the following Universities: </p>

Duke
Emory </p>
<p>I live in Pennsylvania and attend the 2nd best public high school in the state. My GPA is hovering around 3.9 and 4.0 weighted. I have will have taken 7 AP classes by the fall of next year and have strong teacher recommendations. My ACT score is a 33 and my SAT is a 2010. I am captain of the debate team and the president of the philosophy club as well. </p>
<p>Am I in over my head?</p>
<p>Get that SAT up to 2250+ (preferably 2300+). What are your other ECs?</p>
<p>If those are all your ECs, you are in over your head for Duke and Chicago. Emory slight reach and in for Wisconsin/Michigan.</p>
<p>@born2dance, i think you overlooked the posted ACT score which is prob. fine but pref. if boosted to a 34+.</p>
<p>I would say you just need to bring up your stats for duke. Also ecs would really help you</p>
<p>Well I have really good science fair stuff, Ive come in 2nd and first place in Zoology for my last years science fair project. 1st in districts and 2nd in tri-states. I am nationally ranked in debate and compete at the national level, I am the 2 time district 12 champion of extemp in Pennsylvania. umm I do science olympiad every year and I have done tons of labwork in universities over the summer. I probably should have mentioned this stuff before</p>
