At my school, the biggest/most segregated cliques are the theater kids and the crew (rowing, not stage) kids. There’s also the swimming kids, the dancers (me!), the popular kids, the average kids, the nerds, the Asians, etc. But my school has 4400 people so most cliques intermingle a ton. Some of my best friends are theater kids, volleyball players, track runners, and artists. I like that there are groups but they’re not too well defined.

my school has like a pyramid of popularity then the hipster wannabees then the nerds(whic are like supernerds because a lot of people at my school are nerds) then you have the floaters like me

me and then everyone inferior to me

Athletic people
Hicks (I live in Iowa)
and people who act like gangsters who would rather be smoking weed than in school

Hipsters, Jocks, Nerds, Preps, Weird

The Haves and the Have-Nots

My school there’s pretty much tremendous overlap with regular cliques, so without further ado, I present my version:
COD Geeks (Ppl who aren’t good at anything but Cod and video games)
STEM Geeks (In all honors, but DGAF about anything but STEM subjects)
Athletes: Life is all about the field/court/etc.
Whores: Both sexes
Honors Kids
AND ME.

Jocks (non lax bros)
Lax bros
Skaters
Smart Kids
Nerdy Smart Kids
Gamers
Nerdy dumb kids
Stoners

For every one of these cliques, except for gamers, there is a girl clique counterpart.

I would say I’m a smart kid/jock hybrid.

The jocks, annoying baseball players, the good cheerleaders, the slutty cheerleaders, the ghetto kids, (which unfortunately consists of like, 99.9% black kids, me being the .1%), the wannabe ghetto white kids that listen to wiz khalifa and lil wayne and dont know a single album past i am not a human being, the perfect kids (smart, funny, not stuck up, good-looking), the preps, which i suprisingly like, and the “outcasts”

Cheerleaders & Football players, Baseball & Soccer players, Anime freaks, ASB Freaks (Associated student body), Mexicans, Frilly girls, Choir and Theater kids (mee!), Juggalos, People like the characters from The Outsiders (also me), Freshman (that includes sophomores, juniors, and seniors that never grew up), and Asians.

Lacrosse players
Honors kids
Everyone else.
At my school you need 9 athletic seasons to graduate so everyone is sporty.

Jocks (Football & Lacrosse Players)
Popular Girls (Consist of mostly morons)
Card Players (I know this sounds weird but its a group of people who just play cards all lunch long)
Outside kids (People who sit outside. Its mostly the really smart people and the cross country members. They just talk about movies, books, and video games. )
Soccer players (They play a lot of soccer yet they are some of the best students)
Theater people (A group of girls who just talk about theater. )

There seem to be the popular kids. Those consist mainly of the football people, the cheerleaders, and the dance team. There’s also that handful of people in other sports teams. They normally spend all of their time gossiping, shopping, kissing their girlfriends/boyfriends, and ignoring most of the other people.

Then there’s the drama kids. They spend most of their time working on the school play.

The band kids. (ME.) We seem to have no life whatsoever. Marches and football games take up all of our free time, and we have to stay after school for practices sometimes. We spend a lot of time together and talk about all of the band camp memories.

Then there’s the wannabes. I have to say, some of them can be pretty awesome. They try to act like the popular kids, but they’re often chubby, cuss every two seconds, and gossip. They never do many activities besides the after school program.

Then there’s the floaters. They don’t really spend much time with any one group, or their friends are spread out through the whole group. They spend most of their time at home talking to people or watching TV.
