<p>If you or your kids are interested in a career in fashion design, Bravo TV has a reality program entitled "Project Runway," which is hosted by Heidi Klum and found on TV every Wednesday.</p>

<p>It takes 16 designers, although 4 have been cut by now, and gives them a fashion challenge to design something. It is hosted by Parson's School of Design. The Dean of the fashion design department is an advisor to the designers. Essentially, it is the "American Idol" of fashion design.</p>

<p>You will be amazed at the skills necessary to be a fashion designer.</p>

<p>By the way, the reason I know about it is that one of the designers, Marla, is a childhood friend of my wife.</p>
